MIXALICIOUS - THE BEST OF 2012 (MIXED BY DJ JAMES WONG) VOL. 1~4

I remember the last time I did a "BEST-OF-the-past-year" mix, it was for the year 2008...

I'm back with a mission to whip out a series of a few volumes mixtapes that features the biggest hits for the year 2012!

The year 2012 was the year that they predicted that the world will end, it also saw the release of many Fabulous tracks by many wonderful artists, both old and new. The world didn't end afterall, and the music continues!

While I'm spoiled for choice when deciding which tracks to include in this series, the tracks that made it to the final cut of the mix are mostly top hits from the music charts from various parts the world, and/or have made a significant presence in the sets that I've played throughout the year of 2012.

So here I present to you guys with 4 volumes of mixes featuring my personal picks for the year 2012. Sorry if I have missed out some tracks... I have to end after the 4th volume to make way for more new mixes. So many new fantastic tracks to feature... :D

Present....

This Brand New series of mix sets, which will include brand new tracks (some yet to be released officially) and old tracks. Signature songs and sounds that have inspired me throughout my journey of becoming a DJ. Those of you who have either attended my gigs, or have heard me live on set will be familiar them... :)

This mixset was mixed and recorded live at work using Native Instruments TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO 2 with the Audio 10 DJ audio interface, Pioneer CDJ-1000s and DJM-800 mixer...

MIXALICIOUS- Battle Of The Divas Mix VIII

With so many great new releases recently, I just can't help but to work on another mix! It was just a matter of days after I posted by last mix, that I started itching to work on another one. So this is the product... the 8th Volume of the BOTD mixtape series.

I apologise for not being able to post the setlist (tracklisting) for my mixes here as I have many previous posts getting deleted because of that. If you have a FACEBOOK account, please join the MIXALICIOUS FACEBOOK GROUP to receive the fastest and latest updates, it is also where you will receive the complete setlist upon the release of a new mix via email.

 I'll be taking another break to concentrate on some upcoming projects, what started out as a hobby has all of a sudden gone to a more serious level...  Do keep your comments, suggestions and requests coming in. I'll try my best to whip out new mixes as soon as I can.

Most of the tracks in this new mix are based on the latest remixes posted on DIRRTY REMIXES, do check out this regularly updated site for some of the hottest releases and celebrity news and gossips.

Special thanks to Chris Koh again for helping me out with the artwork despite being so busy with work (and your dolls)...Someone should seriously teach me how to use Photoshop someday, or should I go take a photoshop course?

 Whew! I must have had the longest break from the blog to date. It has been more than 2 months since my last post. It's finally here, the 7th volume of the BOTD Mixtape series.
