MIXALICIOUS- Battle Of The Divas Mix VIII

With so many great new releases recently, I just can't help but to work on another mix! It was just a matter of days after I posted by last mix, that I started itching to work on another one. So this is the product... the 8th Volume of the BOTD mixtape series.

I apologise for not being able to post the setlist (tracklisting) for my mixes here as I have many previous posts getting deleted because of that. If you have a FACEBOOK account, please join the MIXALICIOUS FACEBOOK GROUP to receive the fastest and latest updates, it is also where you will receive the complete setlist upon the release of a new mix via email.

 I'll be taking another break to concentrate on some upcoming projects, what started out as a hobby has all of a sudden gone to a more serious level...  Do keep your comments, suggestions and requests coming in. I'll try my best to whip out new mixes as soon as I can.

Most of the tracks in this new mix are based on the latest remixes posted on DIRRTY REMIXES, do check out this regularly updated site for some of the hottest releases and celebrity news and gossips.

Special thanks to Chris Koh again for helping me out with the artwork despite being so busy with work (and your dolls)...Someone should seriously teach me how to use Photoshop someday, or should I go take a photoshop course?

 Whew! I must have had the longest break from the blog to date. It has been more than 2 months since my last post. It's finally here, the 7th volume of the BOTD Mixtape series.

Thanks to those who have downloaded my mixes so far and have left me kind compliments, more mixes coming your way!

MIXALICIOUS- BATTLE OF THE DIVAS MIX VI

I'm finally back with a brand new mix my apologies for keeping everyone waiting. The Tracks featured in the mix are currently in the hottest playlist of my iPod, I hope you'll enjoy the selection... :)

Things have been going a little crazy (Crazy Weather, Crazy Schedule and some Crazy People) since my last post, which is keeping me away for awhile. My sincere hearfelt thanks to everyone who expressed their support and encouragement! I have many of you asking when will be my next Live gig, I personally have got no idea myself... But be assured that this blog will still be up and running and any future gig info will definitely be posted to keep everyone informed.

I have since decided to go one notch upwards and move on to more sophisticated industry standard equipments and softwares. Going Pro? Well, to me... its all about keeping the passion going for now and equiping myself with the required skills. What lies ahead, I certainly do not know for now... :/ I am fortunate for having some DJ friends who provided me with their valuable suggestions and guidance... :)

p/s: My apologies also for not being able to post the setlist here in order to avoid my post from getting deleted. The setlist are now embeded into the file... all you need is to look into the properties of the audio file, and you will find the entire setlist!

DJ JAMES' Superstar Summer Setlist

The Superstar Summer party @ Cafe Del Mar was a real blast! Thanks to all for attending and making it a huge success!

I simply can't thank you all enough all for filling up the 42 Below Dark Room during my set. I was overwhelmed your Superb response! You guys have made my Live Debut a truly Memorable one.

MIXALICIOUS- Battle Of The Divas Mix V

As promised... a brand new "Battle Of The Divas Mix", the 5th volume to date. Many thanks to those who left kind remarks and emails, I'm very glad that you guys have enjoyed my mixes, your compliments and encouragement will push me to work harder on my future projects.

DJ-ing will remain as a hobby for now, I'm not a DJ by profession... Which explains why I never call myself a "DJ"... I am, however very happy and blessed to have so many of you out there to share my passion with. You are the reason why this blog of mine is still up and running!

With so many new 'Divalicious' tracks recently, it was certainly not easy to decide on the final setlist. After gathering some feedbacks and suggestions from friends, I've decided to make this one special by having an "International Cast" in the mix, which includes new numbers by Asian Divas Utada, BoA and not forgetting Singapore's DJ Big Kid, with his remix of PCD's new track.

MIXALICIOUS- 'Someone Make Me A Mixtape!' v5.0

Another request fulfilled!

I was working on my "Battle Of The Divas Mix V", when I got distracted by an email from someone who visited MIXALICIOUS. He sent me a list of 16 of his favourite tracks and would like me to do it into a Non-stop Mixtape for him.

I have selected 12 tracks to be featured in this mix, they are a mixture of new and old tracks... some dated back all the way to 2006. I totally enjoyed doing this mix... Mixing it was a breeze as I am very familiar with all the tracks featured.

MIXALICIOUS- A Birthday Mixtape for the Birthday Girl...

This is a Mix that was specially requested for a birthday gal who is celebrating her birthday today! It's the very first time I have done a Mixtape specifically for somebody's birthday, without knowing her personal favourite tracks or artists. For this mixtape, I have specially selected a string of dance tracks (new and old) from different genres. Some of which are of course, my all-time personal favourites that I have been using for my previous mixtapes, while the rest are commercially hits that most of you should be very familiar with.

Enjoy this Mixtape and I hope you'll like it as much as Ron did.
